Canada's official government job board lists caregiver openings across every province — and it costs nothing. This is where real employers post, and where you check who is genuinely hiring.
How to use Job Bank properly
Open the search link below, then filter by province and by "Foreign workers — Willing to hire" where available. Employers who can hire from abroad normally hold an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment). That document is your green light — without it, an employer legally cannot hire you from outside Canada through this route.
Check the employer, not just the job
Before you send anything, search the company name in Canada's LMIA employer list (published by ESDC). If the employer is not on it, walk away. This one check protects you from 90% of fake recruiter stories you have heard.
What you need
- Caregiver experience you can prove (reference letters, employment records)
- Clean police clearance and medical exam readiness
- English or French at working level — IELTS General around 5.0+ helps
- A CV in Canadian format (use our free caregiver template on this site)
Red flags to refuse
Nobody legitimate asks you to pay for a job offer, an LMIA, or a visa. Employment agencies in Canada are paid by employers, not by you. If someone asks for money to "process" your hiring, that is the scam.
Apply directly through Job Bank or the employer's own website. Keep copies of everything you send.
